NorCenTex Girl Scout Council seeks to serve all girls ages 5-17 and the adult volunteers working in partnership with them.  Girl Scouting dedicates themselves to the purpose of building girls of courage, character and confidence who make the world a better place.

In-school program in Vernon on the topic of keeping girls safe. "Staying Safe" program helps to give girls the tools about staying safe on the internet, at home, at school and around her community.  Girl Scouts served girls in grades 1-6 in the 2006-2007 membership year.  The program was conducted by paid staff. 

Girl Scouts is working hard to recruit volunteers for traditional Girl Scout programs for the fall.

Specific Program Objectives

To see that "Every Girl, Everywhere" has an opportunity to participate in the Girl Scout program.

To have every girl to be involved in community service.

To develop character, courage and confidence through leadership, goal setting and awareness program.

To help girls be a part of an all girl environment so they can share and learn with other girls.

Develop healthy lifestyle to become healthy confident adults.
